Jim Quismorio
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Jim Quismorio is the principal and CEO of Alto Partners. Jim began his career in 1994 as an M&A banker on Wall Street at Lehman Brothers, rising to Managing Director in 2006 in charge of corporate M&A and strategy in the Asia Executive Office. Jim was part of the senior Management Committee which closed the historic sale of Lehman Brothers’ international businesses to Nomura in 2008. He retired from the industry in 2012 and established the Alto Partners family office with several senior executives from TPG, KKR and Northstar. Jim graduated double Magna Cum Laude with a BS from the Wharton School of Business and a BA in Asian Studies from the University of Pennsylvania in 1994. He also studied economics at Waseda in Japan and is proficient in written and spoken Japanese. He currently sits on the advisory board for several Asia-based start-ups.
Kaspar Hidayat
VENTURE PARTNER
Kaspar is a Venture Partner and co-founder of Alto Partners’ Forge Ventures seed fund. He has held investment roles at 500 Startups, Venturra Capital and Koru Partners where he invested in some of the fastest growing startups in Southeast Asia including Grab, Bukalapak and Zilingo. Kaspar was previously a VP at Pomelo where he launched and managed its Indonesia business and oversaw marketing regionally. Kaspar graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Philosophy and Economics from Amherst College.
Yi Jun Ooi
VICE PRESIDENT
Yi Jun Ooi joined Alto Partners in 2022, bringing with her 14 years of operational experience in Finance, Fund Management and Private Equity including fund accounting, fund operations, treasury, and compliance for unit trust funds & wholesale funds, mutual funds, and private mandates for high-net-worth individuals and corporations across Malaysia and Singapore. She spent 5 years at KKR Singapore Pte Ltd in supporting private equity investments in Asia and more than 2 years at Citco Singapore Pte Ltd servicing private equity clients. Yi Jun graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Commerce, specializing in Accounting.
Rashidah Harith
OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE
Rashidah joined Alto Partners in 2021 with extensive experience in office administration, HR, client services and banking. During her time with American Express Bank, Lion Global Investors and RHB OSK, she was responsible for finance & operations, assisted in compliance matters and was also involved in project work. In total, Rashidah has close to 20 years of experience with financial institutions.
Tiang Lim Foo
DIRECTOR
Tiang Lim Foo is a Partner and co-founder of Alto Partners’ Forge Ventures seed fund. He is currently serving as a Venture Partner at Next Billion Ventures. He was also a partner at SeedPlus, a leading seed fund in Southeast Asia backed by SGInnovate, Jungle Ventures, Cisco, and IFC. Previously, he launched and managed Evernote's operations in Asia. Tiang has invested in category-leading startups in the region and currently serves on the Board of Qoala, a Sequoia-backed insurance tech company in Indonesia. Tiang holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with Honors from the National University of Singapore and is an alumnus of the NUS Overseas College (NOC) programme in Silicon Valley, where he attended Stanford University.
Valerie Vu
INVESTMENT DIRECTOR
Valerie founded Alto Partners’ Ansible Ventures seed fund in Vietnam in 2022. Previously, she served as Vietnam Country Head for Venturra Capital, where she led over a dozen VC investments from 2020 to early 2022. From 2016 to 2019, she worked at Deloitte U.S. as a senior consultant where she advised hedge funds, private equity funds and other investment management clients. Valerie graduated magna cum laude in 2016 from Temple University’s Fox School of Business with a major in accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Pennsylvania. She is a visiting lecturer at Eastern International University in Binh Duong, Vietnam. She also founded Career Opportunities in Vietnam (COVN), providing advice to aspiring professionals. Valerie was born and raised in Vietnam and speaks Vietnamese, English and French.
VICE PRESIDENT – FINANCE & COMPLIANCE
Nurul Sanep
Nurul joined Alto Partners in 2017 from Kelly Services, where she was a senior account executive with responsibility for HR, finance and accounting. Nurul has close to 20 years of professional experience with several multi-national firms.
Yvonne Tan
VICE PRESIDENT
Yvonne joined Alto Partners in 2019 after a six-year career in the hospitality sector, including four years as Corporate Sales Manager, where she was responsible for customer relationship management, contracts and revenue generation. She embarked on a career transition into finance in 2018, passing the CFA Level 1 Examination. Yvonne graduated from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Business Management.
Alyssa Teh
VICE PRESIDENT
Alyssa joined Alto Partners in 2019, with a seasoned background in investment banking and trade support. She spent 4 years at Credit Suisse and another 4 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch Singapore, servicing traders and clients in Europe, Australia and Asia-Pacific. Alyssa graduated from the University of London with a degree in Banking and Finance.
Ysa Chua
VICE PRESIDENT
Ysabel is a Vice President at Forge Ventures. She previously held multiple operator roles in the Philippine tech industry, and was most recently the Chief of Staff at PayMongo where she led and executed the company’s key strategic projects. Ysabel has also played an active role in the Philippine startup ecosystem where she co-leads the SoGal Foundation Manila Chapter for women founders and was a venture collaborator at Kaya Founders. Ysabel graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accountancy from the University of the Philippines and is also a certified public accountant.

Jopien Sim
Jopien joins Alto Partners with over 17 years of experience in Private Wealth Management and client administration. She has worked at top-tier banks including Credit Suisse, HSBC, and EFG, and managed the investment portfolios of high net-worth individuals from Southeast Asia, North Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Currently, she is part of the Client Services team that helps families to oversee and manage their financial wealth, provides support to the families’ administrative needs, and coordinates across the families’ endeavours with a unified strategy. Jopien graduated from the University of London with a degree in Banking and Finance.
Lee Shi Hao
ASSOCIATE
Shi Hao joined Alto Partners in 2023 after graduating Magna Cum Laude from Singapore Management University in Business Management with a major in Finance. He has prior experience across various Financial Services verticals, such as FinTech, Venture Capital, Private Equity and Investment Services.
